Di Bartolo Square

Named after Cavaliere Dr. Leonardo Di Bartolo, mayor in 1896 and credited with its creation, it was once the true heart of village life; a witness to civil events and human stories of customs and news, both past and present. Today, it has been modernized with iron lampposts and benches, whereas in the past it featured a wrought-iron cast column supporting two lamps, later replaced by a fountain which has now also disappeared.
